In this latest reggae/dancehall EP due for release on the 24th May 2019, we are transported to a 1990’s Brixton era, when sound systems played on every corner and reggae and dancehall had more freedom. ‘Red Eye’ a new addition to Mad-X catalogue of music is another chapter in her story where she is joined by artists Jamaicanenglish and Eye Shell who also give their take on the all too familiar foe ‘Red (y)eye’. Backing vocals and harmonies on this EP are by reggae/jazz singer Helen Rogers. Adding a further dimension to the EP are the Dnb and Jungle remixes by producers Dougie Dwongo and The Sikhest.
