LONDON – Ed Accura, London’s innovative Hip-hop and Nu Jazz artist is about to release his latest venture, the feel-good, deep groove and summer throwback, New Age of Thingz. The songwriter and producer with a career spanning back into the 90s with eleven albums to his name has a wide-ranging background, and the new single being the latest example of his timeless work. As frequently reported by the internets, this is an independent artist with staying power. His latest incarnation as a solo rapper, producer and songwriter has seen him release several tracks and videos which have racked up the views on YouTube.
New Age of Thingz pays homage and celebrates the days before the internet became a staple part of our lives. Times before the mobile phone and when entertainment was a result of peer interaction and physical activity, times that resulted in some amazing fashion and some hideous ones as well, times of the 60's ,70's, 80's and 90's
New Age of Thingz was conceived after a conversation between Ed Accura and his young niece who wanted to know how he survived the boredom of life pre-internet. It’s said that if you were born after 1985, you are more likely not to know how life was pre internet and the thought of not having it is totally incomprehensible. If you were born after 1985 then you are in the privileged position of knowing life both with the internet and without and were on the pilgrimage from Before to After.'
